James Westacott

I’m James and I’m very proud to say that I’ve been an accountant and tax adviser for over 15 years.James

I graduated with a BA in Mathematics & Computation at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, then did a MSc in Computational Statistics at the University of Bath.

I joined Coopers & Lybrand in September 1996 and won national prizes at all levels of training before qualifying in 1999.

I set up my own accountancy practice in December 2009 and it has expanded significantly since then. I provide all accountancy and taxation services and am a specialist in the owner-managed sector.

When I’m not working hard on accounts and tax returns, I like to spend time with my family. We enjoy eating out, go-karting and exotic holiday locations (usually Tenby!) where we can relax on the beach and go swimming.

My best sporting days are now behind me, but I still try to play football, snooker and darts with my son.

To chill out I like watching TV – mainly Sky Sports, Coronation Street, You’ve Been Framed! and repeats of Baywatch and the Benny Hill Show. I’m a big fan of Jessica Fletcher and have every episode of Murder She Wrote on tape.

Amie Caldwell

I am Amie Caldwell and I joined James Westacott ACA in June 2014.Amie

During school I completed GCSE Maths 7 months early and then went on to pass Money and Finance Skills Level 2. I have passed my AAT Level 2, Level 3 and I am half way through my Level 4 qualification.

I work mainly on owner managed businesses. I am an expert in payroll, Pensions and CIS returns. I can produce a full set of accounts from an incomplete set of records.

Outside the office I enjoy socialising with family and friends and experiencing different parts of the world during vacation.

Courtney Astill

I’m Courtney Astill and I joined James Westacott ACA in February 2016.Courtney

During school I passed 15 GCSE’S including Maths, English and an A* in IT.

I have completed my Level 2 AAT and qualified in bookkeeping transactions, bookkeeping controls, elements of costing, using accounting software and working effectively in finance.

I have also completed my level 3 AAT and qualified in Advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, management accounting, ethics for accountants, spreadsheets for accounting and Indirect Tax.

I am an expert in computers, accounting software and VAT returns. I can produce a full set of accounts from incomplete set of records.

Outside the office I enjoy walking my dog, watching films on Netflix and enjoy having a few alcoholic drinks on the weekend.

Marco Sadek

Hi, I’m Marco!marco

I joined James Westacott ACA in August 2019.
I have completed my Level 2 AAT and qualified in bookkeeping transactions, bookkeeping controls, elements of costing, using accounting software and working effectively in finance.

I have also completed my level 3 AAT and qualified in Advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, management accounting, ethics for accountants, spreadsheets for accounting and Indirect Tax.

I’m currently studying AAT level 4.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to church, working out in the gym, and the occasional night out!

Ellie Gorvett

I am Ellie Gorvett and I joined James Westacott ACA in September 2020.Ellie

I have completed 4 ACCA exams and have 6 years practice experience. My experience has ranged from Sole traders to Limited companies, charities and audits. I am competent at completing accounts from start to finish and have knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, QuickFile Sage and IRIS.

Outside of the office I enjoy yoga, spending time with my cat and dog and going to the gym.

Nia Davies

Hello, I’m Nia. Nia

I’ve been working in this company off and on since 2017 and am pleased to state that I will now be working here for as long as I am able. I have an A-Level in Accounting and am now studying for my AAT Level 3 qualification at Sketty Hall.

In my free time I love to read and listen to music, especially musical theatre!

Sophie Davies

I am Sophie Davies and I joined James Westacott ACA in August 2021.Sophie

During school I passed 9 GCSE’s including Math’s, English and a B in ICT.
I’m currently studying AAT Level 2.

Outside of the office I enjoy going to the gym and watching fashion vlogs.
